RE/MAX named Main Sponsor of Showers (Champagne Wars)
On the 27th of June, (St. Julian’s) Showers (formerly Champagne Wars) will return to Café Del Mar Malta. In association with Malta’s largest real estate agent RE/MAX Malta, Showers will put Malta on the map as a leading high-end destination of choice.
Following smashing successes in 2013 and 2014, this edition of Showers is aiming to be one of the top champagne pool parties in Europe – which will have an after party on the other side of the world in the USA.
The main event in Malta will feature world-class entertainment from renowned performers of Cirque Le Soir London, performing with international rising star DJ Tom Swoon. The events official representative will be none other than Malta’s own Britain’s Next Top Model Tiffany Pisani, who commented by saying, “Malta is known as a party island and it’s about time we get a top international event like Showers to our shores”.
The after party will be held at Drai’s Beach Club, Las Vegas –one of the highest grossing nightclubs in the world. At least 50 Shower’s guests will be travelling between the 29th-5th to continue the festivities, with the official after party being held on the 3rd of July at Drai’s, on the rooftop of the newly opened Cromwell in the middle of the strip.
A unique partnership between RE/MAX Malta and Showers will enable the concept to aim for international recognition in 2015 and expand to a truly world class event. Speaking about the event, Kevin Buttigieg said, “The event is targeted to a number of customers that we deal with through our lettings and sales teams and therefore, this is a way of giving back and assisting Pierre and Martin to set new standards on the Maltese Islands.”
Showers is the flagship event and brainchild of Martin Pettersson & Pierre Lindh, both directors of Ambassador Events, a premium events organizer in Malta, who have been working to set a new standard for events both locally in Malta and internationally for over 2 years. “In 2014 we made our statement in Malta. In 2015 we’re coming for Europe” Pierre Lindh commented.
Showers VIP tables will range from €2500 up to €15,000 and are expected to sell out well before the event which has an expected headcount of 1200 guests.
